Will a button closure hold as well as a real buckle?
Yes. The closure buttons through the strap and locks flat against it, so the hold is spread across the width of the belt rather than concentrated on a single pin through one hole. Because there's no pin punching through the same spot every day, there's no worn-out hole to stretch out over time.
What waist sizes does it fit?
The strap trims to size — measure once, cut to length, and it adjusts from there in small increments. One belt covers a wide range of waist sizes, and it keeps fitting if your size shifts a little in either direction.
Can I wear it with dress pants?
That's what it's best at. The flat profile is most noticeable under a tucked-in shirt, where a normal buckle creates a visible lump at the waistline. It works just as well with jeans and chinos.
